Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity? A well-respected secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a passionate educator to join their team from February 2024. About the Role:

  • Position: English Teacher
  • Location: Basingstoke
  • Start Date: February 2024
  • Contract: Full-time, with the opportunity for a permanent transition
  • Key Stages: Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4

As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, helping students develop a love for literature and language. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on students’ progress, encouraging their creativity and critical thinking skills.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or an experienced/unqualified teacher with a strong subject knowledge.
  • Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive environment.
  • A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
