Position: Teacher of SEND
Location: Winchester
Contract Type: Full-time (minimum 4 days per week considered)
Contract Status: Temporary with the potential for permanent placement

About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of SEND to join our vibrant school community. This full-time position offers the flexibility of working a minimum of 4 days per week. Initially, the role will be through Teaching Personnel, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent school contract following a successful probation period.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils with EHCPs.
- Adapting teaching strategies and classroom activities to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with the SEND team, support staff, and parents to ensure positive outcomes for all pupils.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and implementing effective interventions where necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND, either in a dedicated SEND setting or through adapting mainstream lessons to support those with EHCPs.
- A compassionate, creative, and patient approach to teaching.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
