Young Adult Support Worker – Royston

An award-winning SEN school group is seeking a dedicated Young Adult Support Worker to join their specialist team in Royston. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young adults with special educational needs, helping them develop essential life skills in a nurturing and structured environment.

About the Role:

• Provide personalised support to young adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
• Assist with daily activities, including education, personal care, and social engagement.
• Promote independence and well-being in a safe and structured setting.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring individual care plans are followed.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar support or care role (preferred but not essential).
• A passion for working with young people with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.
• Right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available for this role.
