We are looking for educators with prior experience as Support Workers with either children or adults to join their expanding SEND team. Inclusion Support Workers play a crucial role not only in supporting the teacher but also in providing assistance to one or several specific students within the classroom. This position offers valuable hands-on experience and serves as an excellent stepping stone towards becoming an SEN teacher.

Roles are responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all learners feel safe and valued
  • Provide opportunities for outstanding achievement, both academic and in their personal development.
  • Support pupils to better understand their feelings and increase their resilience and self esteem
  • Liaise with a range of professionals to provide exceptional care and education
  • A positive approach to behaviour management and be highly motivated in caring for vulnerable students.

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant degree or experience working with SEMH needs
  • Possess a child enhanced DBS
  • Right to work in the UK with Overseas Criminal Clearance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
