Supply Teacher – Tameside (January 2025 Start)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Supply Teacher to support secondary schools across Tameside. This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy working across a range of subjects and year groups, providing vital continuity of learning when teachers are absent. If you thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment, this position offers the chance to bring your expertise to a variety of classroom settings, helping students stay engaged and supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuity of Learning: Maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere in the absence of regular teachers, following lesson plans and engaging students in a range of subjects.
  • Classroom Management: Develop your skills by working with mixed-ability classes, tailoring your approach to meet each group’s unique needs.
  • Student Support: Foster a supportive classroom environment, encouraging students to remain focused and engaged in their studies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
