Role Overview:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team in Tameside. This role offers the flexibility to work in various secondary schools on an ad-hoc basis, allowing you to choose when and where you work. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education for students during their teachers’ absence.
Salary:
£120 to £160 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create your own engaging content.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Assess and record student progress as required.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working in secondary education is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and cultures.
- A passion for education and helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
