Education and Training

Salary: £130 - £160 Per day

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of their regular teachers
• Adhere to the school's curriculum and lesson plans
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

• Previous experience working as a teacher or supply teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of educational best practises
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience teaching in a variety of school settings

Working Conditions:

• Work in school settings following school hours and term dates
• Potential travel to different schools within the region
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
