Primary Supply Teacher - Nottingham

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Nottinghamshire? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting supply teachers to support primary schools across Nottinghamshire. This role offers the chance to work in a variety of settings, gain valuable experience, and enjoy a flexible work schedule while making a meaningful impact on young learners.

The Role:

  • Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher
  • Location: Nottingham and surrounding areas (Mansfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield)
  • Pay: £140 - £160 per day 
  • Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities available
  • Contract Type: Flexible (day-to-day, short-term, and long-term positions available)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support different age groups and abilities
  • Follow school policies and lesson plans, adjusting teaching as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil development
  • Provide feedback and complete necessary assessment tasks

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching across different age groups in a primary setting (EYFS, KS1, and KS2)
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
