Job description

Job Title: Key stage 1 supply teacher

Location: NN9, Northampton

Salary: £110-£140 per day

Hours: 8:30 - 3:30

Contact: Supply basis, part time/full time

 

We are looking for a key stage 1 class teacher to work as a supply teacher in a good Ofsted rated two form entry school. The role can be part time / full time depending on your availability and there is also flexibility to cover key stage 2 classes. This role is suitable for experienced teachers or ECT's who are looking to gain experience before committing to a full time planning, preparing and marking role.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Following plans and adapt where necesary
  • Manage the behaviour of the students to provide a safe learning environment
  • Work alongside the class teaching assistant
  • Provide engaging lessons which cater for all learning styles
  • Follow all safeguarding practices

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience working with KS1 students
  • Adaptable and flexible way of working
  • A range of behaviour management strategies
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
