Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team and work in a variety of secondary schools across the vibrant communities of Burnage, Levenshulme, and Moss Side. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education for students during periods of teacher absence. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in diverse educational settings.
Salary: £120 to £150 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects to secondary school students.
- Follow lesson plans provided by absent teachers while adapting to the needs of the class.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback where necessary.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students during supply periods.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching at the secondary level is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- A flexible approach with a willingness to adapt to different school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
