Are you a dynamic and adaptable teacher looking for a flexible role in secondary education?
We are currently seeking a motivated Supply Teacher to join our network of secondary schools across South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a recent graduate with a passion for education, offering a variety of teaching opportunities in a range of subject areas. You will be covering short-term absences and providing high-quality teaching across different schools, helping students continue their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons to students across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and adapt where necessary.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage student behaviour effectively.
- Support students in their learning, providing assistance and encouragement.
- Maintain communication with school staff and provide feedback as required.
- Manage and oversee student work, ensuring progress is made.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and that all students are safe and well-supported.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in secondary schools (ideally, but not essential).
- A passion for education and helping students reach their full potential.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students and staff.
- An up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
