Job Vacancy:   Supply Teacher in Lymington

Location: Lymington
Position:  Supply Teacher KS1, KS2
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Salary: From £125 per day

About the Job:

We are looking for a reliable and flexible Supply Teacher to join our team in Lymington. You will cover for teachers when they are absent, teaching a range of subjects and supporting students in a variety of classes. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for flexible work with the option to make a real difference in student's lives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Teach classes across different year groups and subjects as needed.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and keep students engaged.
  • Support students with their learning and ensure they are achieving their best.
  • Help with classroom tasks and make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Communicate with staff to ensure continuity of learning.

What We Need From You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a classroom (preferred but not essential).
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different classes and subjects.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
