Your New Role
Once registered with Teaching Personnel, you will have the flexibility to work on day-to-day assignments or long-term placements across schools in Harrogate. Supply teaching is a perfect option for those with other commitments, as you can choose the days you work and decline roles that aren’t the right fit for you. You can work with us on a full-time, part-time, or flexible basis, depending on your preferences.
We cover Harrogate and the surrounding areas, including:
• Harrogate Town Centre
• Knaresborough
• Ripon
• Boroughbridge
• Pannal
• Oatlands
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To register with Teaching Personnel, you should be passionate about teaching and motivated to make a positive impact in the classroom. To qualify as a supply teacher, you must meet the following core criteria: • A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• You must have a PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
If you don’t hold a PGCE, QTS, or QTLS, or if you lack recent teaching experience, you can still register as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor, provided you have at least 1 month of experience working with children in the past 4 years.
We also welcome applicants currently working with other agencies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
