Location: Brecon
Salary: £166.32 minimum daily rate – paid to scale for longer-term assignments (£32,433 - £49,944)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract: Full Time / Flexible Supply Work Available
Start Date: 5th of May 2025
Job Overview:
Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join our team in Brecon. This role involves providing day-to-day cover and delivering lessons at a welcoming school in the heart of Brecon. We are open to teachers from any subject discipline, and the position can be short-term or long-term depending on your availability and preferences.

- Curriculum Delivery: Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines provided by the class teacher, ensuring lessons are engaging and enriching.
- Feedback & Support: Record any issues or observations reported by students and provide feedback to the regular teacher upon their return.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enhanced DBS Check: An Enhanced DBS check is required, which we can assist with during your registration process.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS, though we also welcome NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) to apply. If you are an NQT, you can complete your NQT year through us, and we’ll provide support throughout the process.
- Passion for Education: A genuine passion for motivating and inspiring children to learn and develop.
- Team Player: You should be a proactive team player with a positive and adaptable attitude.
