Lead and Inspire in History!
We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Bristol for an experienced and passionate Subject Lead for History. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to take on a Middle Leadership role within a well-established and supportive department.
About the Role
- Lead the delivery of History at KS3 and KS4, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Work closely with an experienced Director of Faculty to develop and enhance the fully resourced History curriculum.
- Contribute to departmental strategy, staff development, and student progress.
- Benefit from bespoke leadership coaching and CPD to support career progression.
About You
- A qualified History teacher (QTS or equivalent) with leadership aspirations or experience.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to curriculum development and sharing best practice.
- Passionate about driving standards and ensuring excellence in History education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
