- Full time position: 8.30am – 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.
- Start date: September 2024.
- Contract Type: Temporary with the possibility of a permanent contract for the successful candidate.

The Role:
As a Speech, Language, and Communication Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting effective communication skills among students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the school in providing one-on-one and small group support sessions.
- Implementing personalized speech and language intervention plans to help students overcome communication challenges.
- Supporting the development of communication skills through engaging activities and exercises.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to address the diverse needs of students.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in speech therapy, speech and language support, or a related field are desirable, but not essential for the successful candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
