We are currently supporting one of our partner schools with their interview and recruitment process for 3 upcoming Teaching Assistant vacancies starting in September. The Teaching Assistant vacancies are to support with several pupils, all with varying additional learning needs. This Cardiff Secondary School boasts specialist facilities to support with additional learning needs, challenging behaviour, Autism & intervention support for core subjects.

You would need to be confident in any of these settings and having the right attitude is a requirement that the school have specifically asked for because no two days are alike in this school.

Working alongside vulnerable young people you will need to be able to act as a role model as well as an academic support function. The pupils you are working with may come from backgrounds where they may not have a solid support function outside of the school environment, therefore it is paramount that you can quickly build relationships and gain trust of the young person you will be working with.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
