Exciting Opportunity: SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator)
Teaching personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with an outstanding high school based in Darwen.
About the Role:
As SENDCo, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the learning experience for students with special educational needs and disabilities. You’ll work closely with staff, students, and parents to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive, both academically and personally.
Candidate Specific
✅ SENDCo qualification (or the willingness to gain one).
✅ A proven track record of working with students with SEND, including experience of managing and leading a SEND team.
✅ Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
✅ An in-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
✅ A genuine passion for supporting all learners to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
