SEN Teaching Assistant:

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant located in th BB11 area of Burnley, to support children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, complex learning and behavioural needs within Key Stage 1 and key stage 2. The school is average-sized and easily accessible via car and public transport. The working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm with a competitive rate of pay of £12.90 per hour.
The role may also include 1:1 support with a child with challenging behaviour and social and emotional difficulties. The child requires nurturing support to allow them to be fully integrated back into the classroom on a full-time basis. The school are hoping for the candidate to start in September 2024 with the potential of an opportunity for this to turn into a long-term position.
