Full-Time SEN Wellbeing Tutor – Towcester/Silverstone Area

Teaching Personnel is working with a Partnership School looking for a full-time SEN Wellbeing Tutor to join their team. This role supports students aged 11-16 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils, fostering engagement and progress.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to support learning.
  • Work with the school’s SLT to meet pupils' emotional wellbeing and educational needs.
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
  • Assist with behaviour management and implement Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Supervise pupils during break and lunch, promoting positive interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children/young people with SEN.
  • Ability to drive and transport students if needed.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent).
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students and improving their wellbeing.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
