Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: England, South East England, Surrey
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £30 per hour
Skills: SEN experience
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised educational plans to meet the specific needs of each student
- Implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning and development
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong understanding of SEN practises and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching or tutoring
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of various learning disabilities and developmental disorders
- Ability to create and adapt educational materials to suit individual student needs
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a school setting or student's home
- May involve travel to different locations within Surrey

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
