JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor
Location:
South East England, Surrey, Guildford
Job Type:
Temporary, Part-Time hours
Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans to cater to each student's specific requirements
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress
- Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working in a similar role with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN principles and best practises
- Ability to create and implement effective learning plans
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in SEN education or related field
- Experience with different types of SEN, such as autism or dyslexia
- Training in behaviour management techniques
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, temporary position
- Work in a classroom or educational setting
- May require travel to different locations within South East England
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
