Job Title: Tutor with SEN Experience

Location: South East England, Surrey, Guildford

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description

Job Duties:

Provide individualised instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on students' needs
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Collaborate with other professionals, such as Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) and parents
Support students in developing social and emotional skills

Required Qualifications:

Experience working with students with SEN

Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of various learning disabilities and strategies to support SEN students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Working Conditions:

Part-time hours, temporary position
Work in a classroom setting or one-on-one with students
Collaborative work environment with other education professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
