Job description

Are you an experienced SEN Tutor passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable tutor to provide tailored, 1:1 or small-group support in Reading.

About the Role:

As an SEN Tutor, you will:
✅ Work with students with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
✅ Assess, plan, and deliver individualised schemes of work to support learning and development.
✅ Provide engaging, structured, and adaptable sessions based on students’ needs and learning styles.
✅ Support academic progress, confidence building, and overall well-being.
✅ Collaborate with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to learning.

About You:

Experienced in working with students with diverse SEN needs.
Able to create and implement structured learning plans tailored to individual learners.
Patient, understanding, and adaptable, with strong communication skills.
A relevant teaching qualification (or substantial SEN experience).
DBS checked (or willing to obtain one).

Location: Reading (in-person)
Pay Rate: £20-£25 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
