Job description

SEN Tutor Wanted – Reading | £20-£25 per hour | Flexible Hours

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We're looking for an experienced SEN Tutor to join our team in Reading, providing tailored support to students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess individual learning needs and create personalised schemes of work
  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
  • Track progress and provide regular feedback to parents and relevant professionals
  • Adapt teaching methods to support a range of learning styles and needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other SEN
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
  • Ability to assess, plan, and deliver tailored educational content
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • Relevant teaching or SEN qualifications (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
