1:1 Support Assistant – Wigan

We are currently seeking a full-time **Support Assistant** to work closely with a KS3/4 student on a 1:1 basis within a respected secondary school in the Wigan LEA. This is an immediate opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a student’s daily school life and development, providing the crucial support they need to thrive.

Your Role:
As a 1:1 Support Assistant, you will be an essential part of the student's journey, helping them overcome challenges and achieve success in their academic and personal development. The role requires a strong, authoritative presence, and the ability to stay calm when managing challenging behavior. You will need to be a positive role model and develop a strong, supportive relationship with the student, guiding them toward regular improvements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
