SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Special School, B75
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our special school in B75. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support for students with complex needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of personalized education and development plans.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to foster a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Help students with their learning activities and social interactions.

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability (8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday).
  • Relevant experience working with children with special needs, or a degree in Education, Psychology, Sports, or a similar field.
  • A current DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
