SEN Teaching Assistant – Stockport – ASAP Start
Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) TA to join one of our partner secondary schools in Stockport immediately.
Key Details:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Stockport
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Full-time, temporary (potential for extension)
About the Role:
This role involves working closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, helping students to engage in lessons and develop confidence in their learning. Working alongside teachers and the SENCO, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- A passion for supporting students with additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
