SEN Teaching Assistant – Sheffield

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. Our hub offers a highly supportive environment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional complex needs, ensuring they receive personalized care and education in both mainstream and SEN-specific schools in Sheffield.
About the Role:
- Provide support to students with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) who have ASD and other SEN needs.
- Work within dynamic classrooms, offering hands-on assistance in a structured environment.
- Assist with personal care and feeding as part of the daily routine.
- Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to implement individualized learning and care plans.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience is beneficial but not essential.
- A strong understanding of SEN and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to meet the needs of high-support pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
