Role: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Supply (short-term/long-term assignments)
Salary: Competitive daily rate depending on experience (85-100)
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiatic SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in the Sheffield area. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in full-time or part-time positions, with roles set to begin ASAP and continue through to the end of the academic year.
The Role:
- Long-term, full-time and/or part-time positions available, starting immediately after the February Half-term.
- Ensuring high-quality support to help all pupils reach their full potential.
- Collaborating alongside teachers and support staff to ensure a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment
- The role will involve various TA duties, including full classroom support, small-group work, and 1:1 assistance.
- Supporting children with various SEND, such as autism, ADHD, PMLD, sensory and communication neeeds.
Requirements:
- Patient and resilient character!
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide at least two professional references that cover the last two working years
