One of our partnership Schools based in Redruth are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team in January.
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with complex and severe needs, including Autism, cerebral palsy and PMLD.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children with Special educational needs in a care or school setting.
- A calm and sensitive approach to working with children
- Experience of personal care/ moving and handling (desirable- not essential)
- The ability to build relationships with students and staff

As part of safer recruitment guidelines, all candidates will be subject to standard vetting checks. Including:
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service- this can be applied for through Teaching Personnel
- 2 recent employment references that covers the last 24 months
- All applicants who have been outside of the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years will need to present an Overseas Criminal Check (police check)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
