Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes, Secondary SEN School
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM
Pay Rate: £90+ per day (experience dependant)
Start Date: 22nd April 2025

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Secondary SEN School in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the lives of students who need extra support in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Help to create and adapt resources to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Support students’ social and emotional development.
  • Encourage engagement and participation in learning activities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude towards supporting students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for helping students achieve their potential.
  • A valid DBS check (or the willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
