Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new full-time role in January?

Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN secondary school in Manchester to recruit teaching assistants for full-time roles in the new year. The school supports pupils from the ages of 11 to 18 with specialised education and support individualised suit the different needs they have. Pupils will have a variety of complex needs, and you will work in classes of 10 or less with a team of support staff to help with de-escalation, work within the classroom and general support within each lesson.

For this role you should:

  • Have previous experience working as a teaching assistant for pupils with additional needs, whether this is in a mainstream or specialist provision
  • Be confident adapting your support to suit different needs
  • Be comfortable with personal care and supporting others with personal care
  • Have experience with challenging behaviour and de-escalation
  • Be available for full-time roles in January

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
