Job description

Transfer Your SEND Experience to a Rewarding Primary School Role in North Hampshire

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Whether you have professional experience in SEND or have personal experience supporting children with additional needs, Teaching Personnel is here to support you in transitioning your skills into a fulfilling primary school role. We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to join schools across North Hampshire to help make a lasting impact on students' lives.

About the Role:

  • Position: SEND Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Schools across North Hampshire
  • Start Date: ASAP or following the half-term
  • Contract Type: Long-term roles with potential to go permanent
  • Working Hours: Full-time (part-time may be available depending on role)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND (professionally or personally)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and their families
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude toward supporting children with additional needs
  • A collaborative approach to working alongside teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Experience in a primary school setting (ideal but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
