Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Individual Needs Assistant to join our welcoming, two-form entry primary school in Haywards Heath.

About the Role:

  • Position: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
  • Location: A vibrant, inclusive primary school in Haywards Heath
  • Role: Work closely with a child with individual needs, providing tailored support to ensure they thrive in their learning environment.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday during school term time (exact hours to be discussed).

As an Individual Needs Assistant, you’ll make a real difference by helping a child with additional needs to fully engage in classroom activities, develop social skills, and reach their academic potential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both with children and colleagues
  • A proactive approach to helping children learn and grow

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
