Teaching Personnel is working closely with an outstanding SEN school in Gainsborough, seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. This school provides exceptional facilities and a child-centred approach, ensuring every student has the best opportunity to thrive.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
✔ Work closely with the class teacher to support lesson delivery and engaging activities.
✔ Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with complex learning needs.
✔ Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
✔ Assist with the assessment and development of pupils.
✔ Support pupils with personal care, moving and handling, and communication needs (BSL experience is desirable).
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with SEN children in a school or care environment.
A calm, patient, and positive approach to working with children.
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Availability to work full-time within school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
