Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) 

Location: Crawley

Salary: Competitive, based on experience 

Contract: Full-time, Temporary

Your Role: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Leading small group sessions and one-on-one interventions to reinforce learning.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student welfare.
  • Supporting extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or similar role.
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
