Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and physical disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing one-to-one and small group support tailored to each student's needs
- Supporting students with daily activities and personal care when required
- Encouraging a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each child
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a special school or similar setting
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting students with complex needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification, are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
