X2 SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED!!

A Specialist Primary Provision based in Chorley are looking to hire X2 SEN Teaching Assistants to further support their Early Years Class. The class required; one TA with EYFS experience and one with experience of non-verbal pupils with complex needs and MLD/PMLD.  Both need to have worked in and SEN school as they will be in a class which can be physically and mentally challenging.

Key Information:

ü  Start date: November 2024.

ü  Full-time hours 8:30-4pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

ü  EYFS Experience/ SEN School based experience required.

ü  Resilient and proactive.

ü  Ability to be able to adapt to a new environment quickly.

The school supports pupils aged 5-11 years with Additional Needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH and other general additional learning needs. The pupils can display challenging behaviours, so the successful applicants need to be resilient and proactive in their role. The school do look to take their staff onto a temp to perm role if the applicant is successful. Their staff team is very welcoming and inclusive of supply staff and also provide training if necessary and required for the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
