Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEN School 

Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant.

Location: Preston, PR2, primary & secondary SEN School. 

Contract Type: Full-time, temporary. 

Salary: £12.90+ based on experience and qualifications.

The Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our students with SEN. In this role, you will:

• Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to individuals and small groups.
• Assist in implementing Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP's) and adapting learning materials.
• Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Provide one-to-one assistance where required, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to adapt and respond effectively to individual student needs.
