Job Advertisement: Teaching Assistants (Part-Time & Full-Time)
Location: Bournemouth

Are you passionate about supporting young learners? Our education agency is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join primary schools in the Bournemouth area. Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time hours, we have a variety of opportunities available!

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching and learning of children within Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • Assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Work as a General Teaching Assistant supporting the classroom teacher with daily activities
  • Help with classroom management and ensuring pupils are on task and engaged

Ideal Candidates:

  • Experience within Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 is preferred
  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils is a bonus, but not essential
  • Candidates from a care background are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
  • Enhanced Child DBS certificate required (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
