About the Role:
We are seeking a confident, reliable, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be supporting children with SEN across a variety of schools in the Bournemouth area. Whether you're working 1-1 with a child or supporting small groups, you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-1 and small group support to children with SEN
• Work alongside class teachers to tailor lessons to the individual needs of students
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of children
• Encourage and motivate students to engage with their learning
• Help implement and monitor individual learning plans
• Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within education, ideally supporting children with SEN
• Strong understanding of SEN needs and strategies for supporting learning
• Confident and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and passionate about supporting children’s development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
