Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary School in Blackpool (FY3) to help them to recruit for an EYFS TA to support children with SEN on a full time basis starting ASAP. 

This is a full time role that will run for the remainder of the academic year (until July 2024) with the opportunity for permanent appointment for the right person. 

The role is to work in the schools larger than average EYFS setting, supporting children across Nursery and Reception with all areas of the early years curriculum. Due to the needs of the EYFS cohort that started in September, the Head Teacher and Early Years lead are looking for a practitioner who has prior experience supporting learners with additional needs. The successful TA will be required to support children on a 1:1 and small group basis with needs such as SEMH, ASC and SPLCN. Continual support will be offered by the highly experience EYFS team, class teachers and SENDco. 

The School are able to offer the successful candidate CPD and training opportunities, continual support from SLT and a happy and calm working environment. The Head Teacher is proud of the schools 'inclusive' learning environment and the positive ethos that runs through out the school. They are now looking for a Teaching Assistant to join thier staffing team who will get involved in all aspects of school life and will work as a positive role model for children across the school. 

To be considered for this role, you will: 

- Have experience working with children in the EYFS. 

- Have experience working with children/young people with special educational needs. 

- Be available Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 15:30 starting in October 2023. 

- Be willing to take on additional training to help you in the role. 

The school are looking to short list for this post ASAP with a view to the successful TA starting after October half term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
