SEN Teacher | Bermondsey | Alternative Provision | KS3 to KS4 | September Start | Permanent Job Role
SEN Teacher required for permanent opportunity to start in January (ASAP) at an alternative provision in Bermondsey.
We are looking for a confident classroom practitioner who can take charge of a small classes from KS2 up to KS4. The provision caters for students with behavioural and emotional difficulties.
• Take charge of a team of teaching assistants
• Pastoral responsibilities for students with severe barriers to learning
• Work with the lead teacher in designing and delivering a curriculum within your specialist subject KS2-KS4
• Developing and maintaining schemes of work across subjects
Applicants should be experienced teaching students with behavioural difficulties within a mainstream school, special school, PRU or alternative provision. You should also have some knowledge of strategies for SEN in the secondary phase.
The role would suit an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to progress their career working in small classes with students with barrier to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
