SEN Teacher

A highly reputable and award-winning SEN school group is seeking a passionate and qualified SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team at their Stoke-on-Trent site. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leadership.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Support the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in an SEN setting.
• A strong understanding of a variety of SEN, including but not limited to autism, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• An understanding of safeguarding practices and the ability to work within a safe, supportive environment.
• A commitment to professional development and a desire to continually improve teaching practice.
