SEN Teacher
Job description
A highly reputable and award-winning SEN school group is seeking a passionate and qualified SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team at their Stoke-on-Trent site. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leadership.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in an SEN setting.
- A strong understanding of a variety of SEN, including but not limited to autism, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- An understanding of safeguarding practices and the ability to work within a safe, supportive environment.
- A commitment to professional development and a desire to continually improve teaching practice.

Job role: SEN Teacher
Area: Stoke-on-Trent
Start: April (sooner is desirable)
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: MPS/UPS - Dependent on experience, with additional SEN allowance and additional benefits.
Phase: All-through

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
