SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
An inclusive primary school with a welcoming and supportive atmosphere is looking for an empathetic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work one-on-one or in small groups with students who have additional learning needs, helping them to engage with lessons and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with various special educational needs
- Assisting with planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with the SENCo and class teachers
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN
- A patient and caring approach to supporting diverse learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
