Are you an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? We are looking for an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
About the Role:
As our SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality education for students with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with colleagues to provide tailored learning experiences, support inclusion, and promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons and activities tailored to the students' abilities.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and external specialists to support student progress.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Track and monitor the progress of students, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Ensure that students feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their best.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of SEN provisions and best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- A caring and patient approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
