Teaching Personnel on behalf of a diverse and rewarding SEN school specialising in Autism and challenging behaviour are looking for teachers with a real passion for working with children who have additional needs to join their committed teaching team on either a supply basis or as more permanent. The successful educator will be supported by a fantastic staff team and will be working with a group of children who have very mixed ability.
As a SEN teacher you will be responsible for ensuring that your class are able to enjoy both learning and play in a caring and creative environment and will be expected to deliver the work set in an engaging and encouraging style – whilst adapting your lessons to differentiate accordingly.
Initially this post is on a day-to-day basis with a view to extend to a long term opportunity. Our specialist SEN branch is currently looking for exceptional candidates for this role in order to meet our total commitment to our schools and the children they support.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified teacher or instructor
- Experienced with working with children who have SEN needs
- Experienced with children who have challenging behaviour
- A warm and patient individual able to make a real contribution at school level
- Able to support the school learning policies and become an active member of the teaching team.
In return Teaching Personnel will offer you the support of a dedicated, personal consultant who specialises in SEN, negotiable rate of pay and excellent opportunities to access our CPD academy where we can deliver training such as Team Teach and Additional Learning Needs Awareness.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
