SEN teacher 

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in central manchester to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher. The successful candidate will work primarily with children in KS1, providing vital teaching support for children with Autism, non-verbal pupils and ADHD. 

 

Key responsibilites:

- Provide group support to SEN children

- Work closely with the SENCO to deliver tailored educations activities that provide an inclusive environment 

- Use alternative communication methods including Makaton and other tools

- Support implementation of indivual education plans (IEPs)

- Foster a positive learning environment 

- Monitor the progress of pupils 

 

About you:

- SEN experience 

- QTS status 

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

- A caring, patient and nurting nature

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
