Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary SEN school in Manchester to find new teachers for part-time positions starting as soon as possible. You would play a crucial role in development and progression of students within the provision, and would be expected to provide exceptional education and care for students that have multiple and profound learning needs.

The role:

-          Creating and developing personalised lessons and lesson plans for each student that you work with to suit their individual needs

-          Using innovative and engaging teaching strategies to ensure all students can reach their full potential

-          Monitoring and assessing progress regularly and using this to make adjustments to teaching

-          Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment

-          Leading support staff within the class and guiding them to where their support skills are best used

What you will need for the role

-          A teaching qualification or extensive experience in teaching in specialist provisions

-          Extensive experience working with SEN students

-          A strong commitment to helping students with additional needs

-          Excellent teamworking skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
